CHILD PROTECTION SEMINAR

OUR KIDS DESERVE TO FEEL SAFE
Haven is a one-of-a-kind seminar teaching our community how to protect the young people we love.
The safety and wellbeing of children must be the highest priority. Our kids deserve to feel safe in all environments. Safeguard your school, camp, or child-serving agency by learning the warning signs of child exploitation. Educate yourself and your organization with the knowledge to proactively protect the young people you serve.
This essential training seminar covers recognizing the warning signs of child abuse, sexual exploitation, and grooming behaviors. You'll gain critical insights into the tactics predators use to gain access and groom victims.
Through expert instruction and real-world case studies, participants will learn to identify:
• Patterns of sexual grooming tactics like inappropriate conversations, gift-giving, and gaining trust
• Indicators of abuse like bruises, injuries, and behavioral red flags
• Methods of coercion like threats, manipulation, and exploitation of vulnerabilities
• Risks in the online space like sextortion, sharing explicit images, and sexual exploitation
You'll gain skills to intervene appropriately and definitively when suspicions arise, including:
• How to respond calmly and objectively, while prioritizing the child's safety
• How to handle suspicions of a colleague’s questionable treatment of a minor
• Understanding mandatory reporting responsibilities
This training empowers you to create a unified safety-first culture. Participants emerge as active protectors, able to institute preventative policies, identify risks, intervene swiftly, and ensure allegations are addressed properly.
Safeguarding children's innocence and wellbeing is a profound responsibility. Ensure you and your team are equipped to keep the young people you serve out of harm's way. Please contact me directly for training pricing information.
